OBD Testing

Our On-Board Diagnostics (OBD) testing service helps diesel vehicle owners meet California Air Resources Board (CARB) Clean Truck Check requirements. OBD testing applies to heavy-duty diesel vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) over 14,000 pounds that are 2013 model year or newer and equipped with an electronic OBD system. These include trucks, buses, and motorhomes that use OBD technology to monitor engine and emission performance.

During the test, we connect certified CARB-approved equipment directly to your vehicle’s diagnostic port to check for emission-related fault codes and verify that your engine and aftertreatment systems are working properly. The process is fast, accurate, and non-invasive. Once complete, your results are securely uploaded to the CARB Clean Truck Check database, confirming your compliance and keeping your fleet legal for operation in California.
